Today is September 1st, and I couldn’t be more thrilled! Although my family lives in the south, I have high hopes that fall is right around the corner. We had a wonderful time of worship this morning, and this afternoon my children and I plan on pulling our fall décor out of storage. A truly great day.
Today I’m sharing the outfit that my 12-year-old daughter wore to church a few weeks ago. This outfit includes a few reasonably priced new items, and one consignment store find.
What she wore:
Blue Ruffle Top – Consignment Sale
White Undershirt – Walmart
Black Maxi Skirt – Ross
Jeweled Sandals – Academy Sports (I scored these on clearance for $4.98!)
My daughters and myself love wearing skirts like these. They are so comfortable! I’m not going to lie though, I’m excited to make the switch to heavier weight fabrics soon. I’m happy that fall consignment sales are now going full swing, and am looking forward to sweaters, boots, and cooler weather.
You can view our family’s view on modesty here. Also, feel free to take a look at our convictions about wearing skirts almost exlusively. Last week I shared another reason why women need to dress like ladies. It’s not what you would expect!
I hope that everyone has a fabulous week!
