Free Thanksgiving Printables

caabfreeprintablest

Today I made a few thanksgiving printables for our meal table, and I thought I would share them with you!  I’ve never done this before, and I sure hope they print well for y’all.  My printer is fried, and my husband printed these elsewhere for me.   I formatted them in 5×7 sizing, but I believe they will print larger as well.

We just used normal printing paper (although cardstock would have worked better), and then I placed the prints in a $3.00 frame from Walmart.  Displaying scripture in our homes is so very important, and I love cheap and easy decorating ideas!

For the first printable, I used Psalm 107:1.  O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good, for his mercy endureth forever.

Secondly, I used 1 Thessalonians 5:18.  In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Once Thanksgiving has passed, I plan on using these printables in my home decor since they match so many of my room colors.  Many blessings to you and your family as you celebrate Thanksgiving.  May we always remember that no matter what our circumstance, we should give glory to God!

You are celebrating Thanksgiving? I thought maybe you had done research on the roots of that holiday, just like Christmas.

    • Honestly, I haven’t given much thought or felt conviction concerning the celebration of Thankgiving. Although I do not believe it should be celebrated as a church/Christian holiday, I do think we should be thankful in all things (which is biblical), and don’t see any harm in eating a meal with family in the name of being thankful. That being said, we chose to take a vacation away from home during Thanksgiving week 3 out of the past 5 years, and did not “celebrate,” eat with family, etc. It is definitely not needful, and should never be considered as a sacred holiday.

These are beautiful printables. We have lots of Bible verses all around the house. =)

Christians celebrating a day of Thanksgiving shouldn’t be an issue. We are told many times to give thanks to the Lord. You are right that “Thanksgiving Day” isn’t a sacred holiday, but there is nothing wrong with families coming together to share a meal and be thankful to God. This was what the Pilgrims did and they invited their very helpful neighbors to join them. (Only revisionist history would say otherwise.)

  3. Love your printables! They are beautiful!

  4. These are beautiful! Thank you so much. I too am doing a Season of Thanksgiving on my blog and have done several printable Bible verses that you might enjoy since they are this same color scheme. I’d love it if you have a chance to pop over! The updated index is at the bottom of this post: http://mommynificent.com/2013/10/12/thanksgiving-season/

  5. Thank you so much for sharing these cute printables. I was looking for something like this to add to my Thanksgiving décor in my kitchen. God bless.

  6. Wow, you never did this before? You did a great job! I really need to learn how to do stuff in Word (or whatever that program is that we have, lol!). I use picmonkey but you can’t do any printables on that. I’ve done one printable I believe and it wasn’t very good, haha. I need to improve!

Thanks for sharing and thanks for linking up to Making Your Home Sing Monday!

    • Thanks so much, I actually made this on pic monkey. :-). I just started off with a blank canvas, adjusted the colors, then added words.

  7. I love these, thank you so much for creating & sharing!
