A Video Tour of Our Travel Trailer

Hey guys, I’ve recently uploaded a slightly-shaky (so sorry about that!) video about how our family of nine travels on a budget.  We’ve discovered that camping is a very economical way for large family to travel, with most campgrounds costing $25-45 per night.

Camping on a bluff overlooking Lake Ontario.  Beautiful!

Without this travel trailer, we wouldn’t have been able to afford some of our excursions, which have been so important to me as a homeschooling momma!

There’s 7 of us kids in my family too, and at one point, we lived in a motorhome for several months, but unfortunately, camping trailers and motorhomes aren’t really found in SE Asia, where we all live now. My parents typically rent rooms in some sort of guesthouse. This country doesn’t have the camping culture of the USA! 🙂

  2. So fun to see your family camps!! We are a family of 7 and my husband and I have camped ever since we go married.(23yrs ago) We started out with just one child using a pop-up camper. We tented for a while and then we got travel trailers. We have our 3rd travel trailer now. We have always camped at state parks too. Our children love that they are not confined to a hotel. They can get up and ride bike or play outside right away without having to wait for everyone to get ready to go somewhere!!! We love to camp!! We are in PA very close to Amish Country where I see you visited at some point. Too bad I didn’t know you were there it would have been nice meet you and your family!! We seem like minded many things and its always nice to meet other like minded families. I hope you continue to have many great camping experiences as our family has had and we hope to continue to have!!
    God Bless!!

Hi Cyndi! Yes, we visited Pennsylvania Amish Country last year, and loved it! It would have been fun to meet up. We have learned that camping is so much more economical than hotels and condos, and I love staying at State Parks. Thank you so much for stopping by!
