Hello all! Whew, it has been a busy month thus far around here. Amongst homeschooling my little guys, I’ve been preparing to release my second book in the Taylor Sister Trilogy, The Plain Truth. Amish novels have always been my favorite to read, and I had a blast writing this book. I should have a four chapter free excerpt loaded soon, and I’ll be sure to let you know when it is available. For now, the kindle preorder is live, and you can take a look at it here.
What is this novel about? Feel free to read over the back cover copy below.
An Amish novel…
College student Mallory Taylor enjoys the finer things in life, and she isn’t afraid to tell a lie or two in order to get her way. Living in the small Appalachian mountain town of Lost Creek is a bore, and nothing is worse in her opinion than residing close to an Amish community. Plain Abram Miller sampled the outside world as a teen, but it left a foul taste in his mouth. He swore off mingling with the nearby Englishe community…until he met Mallory Taylor. When their two worlds collide, all bets are off, until Mallory’s sorority plans a prank which causes her to deceive not only Abram, but his entire family. Will God open Mallory’s eyes to her many mistakes and need of forgiveness? Is there any hope for their love?
This novel is written from a Christian worldview, and is Book #2 of the Taylor Sister Trilogy.
The first book in my series, A Young Mother’s Redemption, has done quite well, and it even was on the Amazon Christian Romance Best Seller list in January! I hope that you guys enjoy Mallory’s story, which was so much fun to write after Claire found her happy ending. Whew, did she ever get herself into a pickle!
