CTCMath Homeschool Membership Review (TOS Crew Review)

Math during the summer?  We are a family which homeschools year-round, so you bet!  I was super excited to review this online homeschool program.  My daughter Morgan actually didn’t mind the math lessons and I love that she can easily access material from all grade levels with the Homeshool Membership from CTCMath.

CTCMath turned out to be a fabulous program, which in a way, reminded me of the math curriculum we normally use for the upper grades.  What was so neat about this particular program is that I could easily look at a wide variety of subject matter, and from their assign lessons specifically designed to help my child in their struggling areas.

CTCMath Review
When I first took a look at the website, I was working from my phone.  CTCMath’s mobile webpage is very easy to navigate, which was totally awesome.  I picked several lessons that I believed could benefit Morgan through the summer.  My older children were still working on their math lessons from the previous year, but Morgan had finished up her work the month prior.  CTCMath offered the perfect way for Morgan to keep up her math skills while on a break from her daily math work.

At first Morgan was a bit skeptical, but ended up really liking the program!  At the beginning of a lesson, she listened to a short lecture.  The lectures were thorough, and helped Morgan remember as well as retain information she learned during the school year.  After the lecture, she completed a several problems.  The lessons weren’t too short or too long, and fit Morgan’s attention span perfectly.  As the teacher, I was able to adjust variables such as the pass rate to my liking.

Morgan has now began working through a new math program, and I plan on using CTCMath alongside of it as her own private tutor.  If she has a question about a particular topic, I can assign the corresponding lesson from CTCmath to help her out.  The lectures are really great!  This program is a valuable asset to me as a homeschool mom of many.  Anything that I can use to simplify our day is much appreciated!

I also plan on using this program with my other children during this school year.  For example, my oldest son Mason is entering the eighth grade, and math is by far his least favorite subject.  I believe CTCMath will help him with his trouble areas, just like it has benefited Morgan.

The twelve month membership plan for more than two students is now priced at $118.80 for the year!  Other membership levels are offered as well.  I believe there are options to fit many different needs at several price points.  If your children are in need of their own private tutor, this program simply cannot be beat in my opinion.
