Motherhood is such a blessing. A few weeks ago, I decided to open a Cafepress Store with a Christian women in mind. I know that I love to share how awesome being a mom is with others, and I figured other women probably feel the same way! This Blessed Mama shirt is from the shop. It is comfortable, and can easily be paired with denim or patterned skirts. It is available in several other colors!
What I Wore:
Blessed Mama Tee – blessedshop.net
Black and White Striped Maxi Skirt – Walmart
Denim Jacket – Thrifted
Once I returned inside I decided to get my hair out of my face. Since Mabrey has joined the family, I’ve discovered that I need to simplify as much as I can. My hair is very thin, so using a small rubber band to pull the sides back works well for me.
What we’ve been up to:
As much as I enjoy working on items purchased through my etsy shop, I would love to devote some of the time I spend doing that on my family instead. This is one of the reasons why I opened http://www.blessedshop.net. We shall see if anything comes of it.
Yesterday we took our family to the Chattanooga Zoo and to visit the traveling Nina and Pinta replicas docked nearby. Mabrey did not like the long car ride. At all. I felt so bad for her!
I’ve been trying to simplify our lives and get more organized. By nature, I am the opposite of organized! I don’t know why this issue is now sticking out like a sore thumb, but it is. I’ve scoured the internet, and have implemented a few new methods to help our days run smoother. The main change I’ve made is setting up a large white board for reminders and scheduling. I’m thinking about implementing a buddy system. I’ve also been on the lookout for blogs I can follow of older women who raised large families. I’m in need of some Titus 2 encouragement!
Being a mom to my sweet children is the best thing I could ever hope to accomplish. I’m so grateful to God for these precious gifts, and He has been so gracious as I’ve called on Him for help. Besides His Word, He has really led me to some fabulous resources lately!
