It has gotten HOT here in Georgia! After a good bit of rain earlier this week, I am buckling down for a very hot weekend. My husband’s work picnic will be held over the weekend at Stone Mountain Park, and I’m not sure if I’m going to make it, ha! We plan on arriving early, and I will sit my pregnant self down inside of a store or eating area if it get’s too warm.
I wore this outfit while we were just hanging around the house. Otherwise, I would have picked a breezier skirt.
What I Wore:
Denim Maternity Skirt: Motherhood Maternity (thrifted)
Black and Brown Top: Ross…$5.99
Black Undershirt: Cato…$6
My pregnancy is still going well, but I’ve added the word “hot” to my vocabulary pretty often, ha! I guess it is just a “perk” of being pregnant during the summertime.
I’ve been making plans for at least one more camping trip before Mabrey arrives. Rusty has poked fun at me, but after looking around at possibilities I’ve booked a site at a state park about 15 miles out of Memphis on the Mississippi River. One of the main reasons I wanted to purchase a travel trailer is so we could tour the country, and since I’m expecting over the summer I wanted to stay within a six-hour radius of home this time around. Last year we made it to Niagara Falls, but that’s not going to happen this year. Most of us have never visited Mississippi, Arkansas, and Missouri, and so that is what we will be doing. Besides, we will be studying American History this year, and I’ve already found some fun historical sites to visit.
My newest ebook/paperback book project is now available to purchase! I would be honored if you decided to take a look.
Other than that, I’ve reopened my etsy store for the time being and added a few new bodysuits and tees to the mix. I’m hoping to help with the expense of sending our girls to their ballet intensives. All items are 15% off when the coupon code SUMMER is used during checkout.
I have over 100 listings in my etsy shop right now, and this is just a small sampling. I even designed a few personalized tees for the campers out there, like this one:
I hope y’all have a great week! I will be heading back to the doctor in a few days for a standard check up, and I’m praying everything goes smoothly.
